Silk PLA Metal Gray is a PLA-based decorative filament with a glossy, metallic-gray silk-like finish. Intended for visual and model prints, not for functional or load-bearing parts. Softer than standard PLA — support removal is easier — though slightly more brittle.
The finish comes out beautifully straight off the printer with no post-processing required. If you need a stronger material, use PLA Pro instead.
Printing Temperature – Silk PLA Metal Gray
Nozzle: 200°C (up to 210°C on fast printers) — ~10°C lower than PLA Pro
Bed: 60°C
Slower print speeds recommended
Storage
Ships vacuum-sealed with desiccant. Once opened, store sealed with desiccant — Silk PLA absorbs moisture and becomes brittle.
