Silk Tri-color PLA Purple/Gold/Black is a co-extruded silk PLA that combines three glossy colors in a single strand, producing a layered, eye-catching shimmer in every print. Ideal for showpieces, vases, statues, and jewelry. Intended for visual/model use — not for functional parts. Softer than PLA Pro, so support removal is easier, but the material is slightly more brittle.
The multi-color effect is most visible on flat / low-detail surfaces and vase-mode prints.
Printing Temperature – Silk Tri-color Purple/Gold/Black
Nozzle: 200°C (up to 210°C on fast printers) — ~10°C lower than PLA Pro
Bed: 60°C
Slower print speeds recommended for best gloss and color separation
Storage
Ships vacuum-sealed with desiccant. Once opened, store sealed with desiccant — Silk PLA absorbs moisture and becomes brittle.
